Currently associated with Production Ace, Sugino has previously worked with Tori Tori Office, Gekidan Hōyū, and B-Box. Throughout his career, he has also been known by the stage names Hiromi Sugino (杉野 ヒローミ) and Hiroomi Sugino (杉野 博臣).
