Yurie Funato (船戸 ゆり絵, Funato Yurie), born on September 18, 1994, in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, is a talented voice actress represented by Amuse. Growing up in a family with a creative background—her mother being a professional narrator—Yurie cultivated a passion for voice acting early on, influenced by her family's enthusiasm for anime and video games.

Her educational journey was marked by a variety of artistic pursuits, including studying piano, flute, jazz dance, and calligraphy. As an accomplished flautist, she earned accolades in her school’s brass band. In high school, she balanced her studies with cheerleading and a part-time job at a sushi restaurant, all while honing her voice acting skills through workshops.

Initially hesitant about her distinctive high-pitched voice, Yurie ultimately recognized it as a unique asset. After completing her education at Watanabe Entertainment College, she made her voice acting debut in 2015 with Holy Peak and also joined the idol group Purely Monster. However, due to a leg injury, she departed from the group on April 30, 2018, and subsequently signed with Amuse Inc. in 2019.

Beyond her voice acting prowess, Yurie possesses a remarkable skill set that includes perfect pitch, musical instrument proficiency, dance, and she is even a certified sake sommelier. In 2023, she achieved a significant milestone by securing her first lead role as Umika Konohoshi in "Stardust Telepath," followed by her role as Hikari Hinata in "Highspeed Étoile," set to release in 2024.
