Lisa Langlois

Lisa Langlois, born on March 15, 1959, in North Bay, Ontario, is a versatile Canadian actress celebrated for her contributions to film, television, and theater. Growing up in Hamilton, Ontario, she attended a French language school, achieving fluency in French, which would later enrich her artistic endeavors. In 1974, Langlois showcased her talents by competing in the Miss Teen Canada pageant, securing a commendable second place.

She graduated from McMaster University before embarking on her acting career, making her film debut in Claude Chabrol’s thriller *Blood Relatives* (1978), where she starred alongside Donald Sutherland. Following this, she appeared in Chabrol's next project, *Violette Nozière* (1978), and continued to build her reputation with notable films such as *Phobia* (1980) and *Klondike Fever* (1980). Langlois gained cult status for her roles in *Happy Birthday to Me* (1981), *Class of 1984* (1982), and *Deadly Eyes* (1982).

Relocating to Los Angeles, she landed roles in two Paramount comedies: *The Man Who Wasn't There* (1983) and *National Lampoon's Joy of Sex* (1984). Langlois showcased her musical talent in *The Slugger's Wife* (1985) and made appearances in popular TV shows like *Murder, She Wrote* (1986). She continued to work in the industry throughout the 1990s, featuring in *The White Tiger* (1995) and *Relic Hunter* (2000). In recent years, she starred in *The Perfect Marriage* (2006) and had a recurring role in *The L Word* (2007). Langlois is a proud mother to her son, Emerson.
