Jeon Mi-do embarked on her acting journey in the world of musicals with her debut in "Mr. Mouse" in 2006. She transitioned to television in 2018 with a minor role in the series "Mother," marking her entry into the small screen. The following year, Jeon made her film debut in the fantasy movie "Metamorphosis," showcasing her versatility as an actress.

Her breakthrough came when she secured a leading role in the critically acclaimed medical drama "Hospital Playlist." Initially, Jeon believed she was auditioning for a patient role, but director Shin Won-ho had other plans, envisioning her as the lead character, Song-hwa. In a later interview, Shin expressed that it felt as though Jeon was meant to embody the character. Her portrayal in the series garnered widespread acclaim and led to a nomination for Best New Actress at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards.
