Kohei Kiyasu
Kohei Kiyasu (喜安 浩平, Kiyasu Kōhei), born on February 19, 1975, in Masaki Town, Iyo District, Ehime Prefecture, Japan, is a multifaceted talent in the Japanese entertainment industry, recognized for his work as an actor, voice actor (seiyū), director, and screenwriter.
Kiyasu's career took off in 1998 when he successfully auditioned for the theater company Nylon 100 °C, where he became an active member starting in 1999. His passion for the performing arts led him to establish the theater troupe Bull Docking Headlock (ブルドッキングヘッドロック) in 2000, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to theatrical innovation.
That same year marked a significant milestone in Kiyasu's voice acting career as he made his debut in the popular anime series Hajime no Ippo, voicing the character Makunouchi Ippo. This role not only highlighted his vocal talent but also solidified his standing in the anime community.
