Reno Wang
Reno Wang, a prominent figure in the Chinese music scene, was born on November 30, 1977, in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. He has established himself as a talented singer, music producer, and educator, currently teaching at the Popular Conservatory of Music at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music.
Wang first gained national recognition in 2007 when he participated in the Hunan TV singing competition "Happy Boys," where he secured a spot among the top four in the Chengdu singing zone and finished tenth in the national finals. Following this breakthrough, he debuted with his first solo single, "Shoulder Wings." His inaugural solo album, "Full of Love," was released on December 22, 2009, and was followed by his second album, "Love of Choice," in June 2011. His third album, "Hear the Time," marked a significant milestone as it was the first album associated with a drama, released on May 13, 2012.
Wang's career continued to thrive as he performed at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala in 2014, singing "Where Has the Time Gone," a piece that garnered praise from President Xi Jinping. His artistic achievements include winning multiple accolades, such as the annual hot song and on-demand champion award at the prestigious Golden Melody Awards. His fourth album, "Story Island," was released on his birthday in 2015, and in 2017, he was honored as the Singer-Songwriter of the Year at the 24th Oriental Music Awards, further solidifying his status in the industry. That same year, he released the heartfelt single "Please Love."
