Dahlia Nemlich

Dahlia Nemlich is a talented French-Lebanese filmmaker known for her work as a director and producer. In 2020, she made her directorial debut with the short fiction film ROADBLOCK, a poignant 16-minute piece that captures the spirit of the Lebanese Revolution, produced by Marine Vaillant at Dewberries Films. Alongside her narrative work, Dahlia has also ventured into music videos, directing BEIRUT, which achieved significant popularity with over twenty thousand views on YouTube, and is currently wrapping up another video project titled IDAK.

Her second short film, SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN, showcased her collaborative spirit, produced alongside Vaillant and Egyptian producer Muhammad Taymour. This film received critical acclaim, winning the Golden Yusr for Best Short Film at the 2023 Red Sea Film Festival, further establishing her as a rising star in the industry.

Currently, Dahlia is in the process of developing her first feature film, ASSA LIKE A FISH IN A BOWL, again in collaboration with Marine Vaillant. Beyond her directing endeavors, Dahlia has contributed as a producer since 2011, working on various series, feature films, and digital content with notable production companies such as TF1, Fullhouse Productions, Webedia, and more recently, The Talkies in Beirut. Her multifaceted experience in film and production continues to shape her evolving career in cinema.
