Katia Mosally

Katia Caroline Mosally, born on April 26, 1987, in Vällingby, Stockholm County, is a distinguished Swedish-Syrian international marketer currently employed by Capitol Records in Los Angeles. In addition to her marketing expertise, she holds a law degree from prestigious institutions including Harvard University and the University of Glasgow.

Mosally's professional journey commenced in Sweden, where she honed her skills at Sony Music and Universal Music. Her trajectory led her to Capitol Records in the United States, where she has collaborated with a plethora of renowned artists such as Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Shawn Mendes, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Katy Perry. Notably, she played a pivotal role in launching the music group The Fooo, later rebranded as FO&O, which garnered several esteemed awards, including multiple MTV accolades, under her guidance.

In the realm of television, Mosally made headlines as she took over from Nikki Amini as a judge on the seventeenth season of the popular show Idol. Furthermore, she participated in TV4's Förrädarna, which premiered in the fall of 2023. As a contestant designated as a traitor, she impressively emerged as the winner, achieving this feat without incurring a single vote against her throughout the competition.

Since the late 2010s, Mosally has been residing in Los Angeles, and in October 2024, she debuted as the host of Gravkammaren, a follow-up program to Förrädarna.
