Monica Lopera
Mónica Lopera Cossio, born on September 10, 1985, is a talented Colombian-American actress recognized for her work across film, television, and theater.
Originally from Miami, Florida, Mónica is the daughter of an American father and a Colombian mother. At the age of two, her family relocated to Medellín, Colombia, where she spent her early childhood. When she turned 14, they moved again, this time to Bogotá. Mónica's passion for the arts sparked at just six years old when her mother enrolled her in a children's theater program. To further her skills and enhance her English proficiency, she spent five years in London.
Mónica's acting career took off with her role in the soap opera "Francisco el Matemático," marking the beginning of her journey in the entertainment industry. She has since appeared in various soap operas, including "In Eva's Heels" and "An Angel Named Blue." One of her notable film performances came in 2016, where she portrayed Susannah in "Between Two Worlds," alongside Chris Mason.
In 2019, Mónica expanded her repertoire by joining the voice cast of the beloved children's series "Thomas & Friends," where she lent her voice to the character Gabriela in both the UK and US versions.
