**Sarah Lynn Dawson** is a talented English actress, screenwriter, and filmmaker, renowned for her dynamic contributions to the arts. She honed her acting skills at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Institute of Film and Television in New York City.

Dawson gained significant recognition for her poignant portrayal of the Mother in the Oscar-nominated animated film *I Lost My Body* (2019). Her creative prowess also extends to her work in *Duality* (2014), a project she wrote and starred in, which featured narration by the acclaimed Deepak Chopra. In addition, she took on the challenging role of Alice Clark, the LAPD's first female detective, in the film noir *Unsolved* (2015), which she not only acted in but also produced.

Born in the beautiful Lake District of England, Sarah spent her formative years in Qatar, where her passion for acting blossomed at the tender age of seven in a community theater production. Her early experiences in boarding school saw her take on lead roles in various Greek tragedies. After earning a BA Hons Degree in Sociology from the University of Leeds, she transitioned into the performing arts, featuring in independent films and performing in Jim Tommaney’s play *Reality TV*.

Following her move to New York, Sarah made her Off-Broadway debut in *Men* at the Manhattan Repertory Theater and later appeared in *Conflict* at The Producers Club. After relocating to Los Angeles, she was selected for the esteemed BAFTA/LA Newcomers program and served as an observer at The Actors Studio, where she learned from the legendary Martin Landau. Today, Sarah continues to thrive as both an actress and a writer.
