Aire Koop

Aire Koop, originally known as Aire Johanson until 1987, was born on May 30, 1957, in Jõgeva, Estonia. She is a distinguished actress recognized for her contributions to stage, film, and television since the late 1970s.

Koop's artistic journey commenced after she completed her education at Jõgeva Secondary School in 1975. She then honed her craft at the Pärnu Theatre training studio, where she studied drama from 1977 to 1979. With a strong foundation in performance, she quickly made a name for herself in the Estonian entertainment industry, captivating audiences with her versatile acting skills.

In addition to her successful acting career, Aire Koop sought to expand her educational credentials. In 2004, she enrolled at the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy and, four years later, earned a degree focused on becoming a teacher and director of cultural and creative activities.
