Daniel Lubetzky
Daniel Lubetzky is a prominent author and the visionary founder and executive chairman of KIND, a company dedicated to fostering kindness through nutritious snacks. Established in 2004 with the launch of its innovative fruit and nut bars, KIND has not only carved out a niche in the healthy snacking market but has also positioned itself as a force for social change. The KIND Movement encourages daily acts of kindness, while The KIND Foundation aims to cultivate more compassionate and empathetic communities.
In 2017, leveraging his extensive experience in the food sector, Lubetzky established Feed the Truth, a nonprofit organization committed to promoting integrity and transparency within the food industry to enhance public health. A passionate social entrepreneur, he has founded multiple businesses aimed at empowering entrepreneurs in developing regions. His impactful work has garnered recognition from major publications such as BusinessWeek, Time, and Entrepreneur.
In 2015, he was honored as a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship by President Barack Obama, acknowledging his support for emerging business leaders. The Hispanic Heritage Foundation awarded him the Hispanic Heritage Award for Entrepreneurship in 2018. Additionally, in 2019, he was appointed to the inaugural Board of Directors for the Anti-Defamation League.
Lubetzky is also the author of the New York Times bestseller "Do the KIND Thing." Originally from Mexico, he has resided in the United States since the age of 16, and currently lives in Manhattan with his wife and four children, where he enjoys family time and honing his magic skills.
