Eamonn Holmes
Eamonn Holmes OBE, born on December 3, 1959, in Northern Ireland, is a prominent journalist and broadcaster renowned for his engaging presence on television. He gained widespread recognition as the co-presenter of GMTV from 1993 to 2005, a role that solidified his status in the UK broadcasting landscape. Following that, he took the helm of Sky News Sunrise, where he served for eleven years until 2016, further establishing his reputation as a reliable news anchor.
Currently, Holmes showcases his talents on Talkradio, hosting the drivetime show on weekdays from 4 to 7 PM. He also serves as the lead relief anchor for Good Morning Britain, demonstrating his versatility in the broadcasting arena. In addition to these roles, he has been a familiar face on This Morning since 2006, co-hosting the Friday episodes and school holiday specials alongside his wife, Ruth Langsford.
Holmes has ventured into other television projects as well, including Channel 5’s How the Other Half Lives, which began airing in 2015, and the 2016 show It's Not Me, It's You.
