Raisa D'Oyley, hailing from South Florida, was born to Jamaican immigrants as the youngest of seven siblings. Her journey into the performing arts began at the Broward Center for Performing Arts Summer Theater Camp, where she discovered her passion for performance. Although she initially embarked on a legal career, her love for the arts remained a constant in her life. During her high school years, Raisa excelled in Speech & Debate, earning national recognition in dramatic interpretation. While attending the University of Florida for her undergraduate and graduate studies, she continued to explore her artistic side through performance courses and regularly attended Broadway shows while practicing law in New York City.

In 2021, Raisa made the bold decision to fully immerse herself in acting after relocating to Atlanta, Georgia. Since then, she has experienced a remarkable transformation in her career. By advancing through the levels at Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop, she has secured a variety of roles including leading parts in independent films, theatrical productions, commercials, a web series, and a documentary. One of her standout performances was in "Forgetting Christmas," a heartfelt holiday drama that featured acclaimed actors Victoria Rowell and Emmy-nominated Melan Perez. This film was recognized with a nomination for Best Feature Film at the 2023 Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival and won Best Feature Film at the Prince George's Film Festival, marking a significant achievement in Raisa's burgeoning acting career.
