Acting 1 titles Buenos Aires, Argentina

Gloria Prat was a celebrated figure in Argentine cinema and theater, particularly prominent during the 1960s and 1970s. Her acting journey began when she was selected from a pool of lesser-known actresses, showcasing her ability to meet the film industry's budgetary constraints of the time.

Prat emerged as a "fetish" actress for the renowned director Emilio Vieyra, collaborating with him on seven films. This partnership allowed her to share the screen with notable actors such as Norberto Aroldi, Osvaldo Pacheco, Ricardo Bauleo, Soledad Silveyra, Federico Luppi, and Sandro, solidifying her status in the industry.

In 1965, Prat made headlines when she was arrested alongside Vieyra for filming nude scenes in the controversial movie *Feast of Flesh* (*Placer sangriento*). Despite this setback, she continued to thrive in television, becoming a familiar face on the comedic show *La Nut* that same year, and later on *La butaca del batuque* in 1970.

Her theatrical contributions were significant as well; she was an essential part of comedy troupes during the golden era of the magazine genre at the prestigious Maipo Theater, under the leadership of Carlos A. Petit. Gloria Prat's legacy remains a testament to her talent and versatility across various entertainment mediums in Argentina.
