Michael David Adamle is a prominent figure in American sports, having made his mark both as a professional football player and a well-known sports broadcaster. Born on December 6, 1949, Adamle played the position of running back in the National Football League (NFL) during the late 1970s, representing teams such as the Kansas City Chiefs and the New York Jets.

Following his football career, Adamle transitioned to broadcasting, where he excelled as a sports anchor at various Chicago television stations. His tenure at WLS-TV spanned from 1982 to 1989, during which he gained recognition for his engaging reporting style. He later hosted the popular television series "American Gladiators" and returned to WMAQ-TV from 1998 to 2001. After a stint at WBBM-TV between 2001 and 2004, Adamle returned to WMAQ-TV, where he continued to work until 2017.

In addition to his broadcasting endeavors, Adamle also ventured into the world of professional wrestling. In 2008, he joined World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), taking on various roles that included interviewer, play-by-play commentator, and serving as the General Manager of WWE’s flagship show, Raw.
