Mzi "Zee" Dempers hails from Durban, South Africa, where he was adopted at the tender age of three into a vibrant and bustling household. Growing up alongside two brothers who have carved out successful careers in the yachting sector—one as a Captain and the other as a Chief Officer—Zee was inspired to pursue a maritime career of his own. After completing his education in Cape Town, he embarked on a journey to the sea.

Zee's initial foray into yachting began with a position on deck; however, he encountered visa issues that temporarily hindered his ambitions. Undeterred, he has maintained a steadfast desire to explore the world through yachting and immerse himself in diverse cultures. His infectious laughter and warm personality make him a cherished presence among peers and friends, ensuring he is the life of any gathering.
