Luke Islam

Luke Islam rose to fame in 2019 as a standout contestant on Season 14 of NBC's "America's Got Talent." His powerful performance of "She Used to Be Mine" from the Broadway musical *Waitress* captivated judge Julianne Hough, earning him the coveted Golden Buzzer and propelling him directly to the Quarterfinals, where he gained widespread recognition. Although he did not advance beyond the semifinals, his talent led to an invitation to partake in Season 2 of the spin-off series *America's Got Talent: The Champions*, which debuted in January 2020.

Following this success, Islam transitioned to acting, landing the role of Jaden 'Koob' Koobler in the Disney+ series *The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers*, which premiered on March 26, 2021, and received a second season renewal in August 2021. Additionally, he showcased his skills in *13: The Musical*, a coming-of-age comedy-drama film that was released on Netflix in August 2022 after a year of post-production.

On November 4, 2022, Luke made his solo performance debut at the renowned NYC venue 54 Below, where he sold out his first concert and returned for an encore. Most recently, he appeared in the mockumentary film *Theater Camp*, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2023 and was released in theaters by Searchlight Pictures on July 14, 2023, grossing nearly $3 million.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Islam actively supports various charitable organizations, including UNICEF and the Entertainment Community Fund, while enjoying the Broadway shows he loves.
