Rita Guedes

Rita Guedes, a prominent Brazilian actress and producer, embarked on her artistic journey at the young age of 14 when she joined the Roda Viva theater group in her hometown of Catanduva. Under the guidance of director Tabajara Campos, she honed her craft at the Teatro Municipal de Catanduva. By 17, she relocated to Campinas, where she became a member of the Mambembe theater company, known for their innovative performances.

At 19, Guedes made the significant move to São Paulo, where her career took a major leap forward with her role in the soap opera *Despedida de Solteiro*. This marked the beginning of her successful trajectory in both television and theater. Over the years, she has amassed an impressive portfolio, appearing in over ten soap operas, featuring in three feature films and seven short films, and performing in more than ten theatrical productions.
