Midori Ebina
Midori Ebina, also recognized by her birth name Midori Shimoshima, was born on February 14, 1953. She is a distinguished former actress from Japan who currently holds the position of representative director at Office Sakaya.
Hailing from Negishi in Taito Ward, Tokyo, Midori completed her education at Kawamura Elementary School, Kawamura Junior High School, and Kawamura Junior College, earning a degree in English literature. Her passion for the performing arts led her to pursue a successful acting career.
Midori comes from a family rich in artistic heritage; her father, Hayashiya Sanpei, was a renowned rakugo performer, while her mother, Kayoko Ebinamai, also contributed to the arts. She has a younger sister, Yasuyo Ebina, and her family includes several notable figures, such as her brother, Hayashiya Masakura, and her step-sister Sachiko Kokubu. Midori married actor Ryuta Mine after they collaborated on the children's program "Ohayo! Kodomo Show," and they have a daughter and a son, Hiroshi Shimoshima, a former member of Johnny's Jr.
In addition to her acting career, Midori has made her mark as an author, publishing works on beauty routines and diet techniques, as well as her debut mystery novel, "Big Apple Satsujin Jiken."
