Ellie Harrison
Ellie Harrison is a distinguished geographer, naturalist, and television presenter known for her passion for wildlife and the natural world. Her early adventures took her to Zimbabwe, where she not only worked on a farm but also canoed on the expansive Lake Kariba and embarked on numerous wildlife observation trips across Zimbabwe and Canada. This rich experience inspired her to return to the UK, where she earned a scholarship from King’s College London to conduct research on development and elephant conservation, culminating in her thesis.
Throughout her career, Ellie has traveled extensively, capturing the beauty of wildlife from Africa to the Americas. In the UK, she has contributed to various outdoor television programs, including the BBC’s "Wild about Your Garden," "The One Show," and "Country Tracks." Currently, she is a prominent presenter on BBC One’s "Countryfile," and she recently contributed to "The Great British Winter," showcasing her expertise and love for nature.
Outside of her professional life, Ellie enjoys spending quality time with her two daughters. She has a passion for music, often singing country and occasionally playing the banjo.
