Sara Seyed
Sara Seyed is a multifaceted talent, excelling as an actor, writer, producer, and international lawyer with a focus on human rights, feminist legal theory, and children's rights. Previously based in London, she has dedicated her career to combating issues such as sexual violence and human trafficking, while also addressing Iran's death penalty cases in collaboration with esteemed organizations like Amnesty International and the International Bar Association.
Sara's artistic journey includes a residency at both the Moscow Art Theatre and the American Repertory Theatre. She earned her degree from Harvard University in 2018 and has since showcased her acting prowess alongside Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actors. Her work spans feature films and acclaimed television series on major streaming platforms like Netflix, Apple TV, Paramount, and Hulu.
In addition to her artistic endeavors, Sara serves as an Ambassador for the United Nations, championing initiatives such as the Together Band, which emphasizes Goal No. 3: Reduced Inequality and Goal No. 5: Gender Equality. As a co-chair and founding member of the Iran Democracy Council, she is deeply involved in advocacy for democratic reforms in Iran. Currently, she is preparing an impactful TED talk on the revolutionary changes in Iran, along with a documentary that envisions the future of the Women, Life, Freedom movement.
