Ashante P.T. Stokes
Ashante "PT" Stokes, a native of Atlanta, first showcased his musical talent at a young age when he was chosen for the DeKalb County Honors Chorus in the third grade. His passion for music continued to flourish as he took up the violin in middle school and participated in various talent competitions throughout high school and college. After completing his college education, PT lent his vocal talents to a friend's rap project, which paved the way for his participation in the 2010 GMA's IMMERSE competition.
Under the stage name PT the Gospel Spitter, he began crafting his own lyrics and co-founded an entertainment company in 2013, with the inaugural division focused on rhythm and gospel music. His first major project, "Raise Up," was anticipated for release in late 2014.
In late 2013, a mentor encouraged PT to audition for a small role in an independent film. His performance impressed the casting director, leading to him being offered a more prominent role. By 2014, he made his feature film debut in the action-packed thriller "Taken 3." Beyond acting, PT possesses a remarkable six-octave vocal range and has ventured into voiceover work, particularly enjoying roles in animation. His diverse talents and contributions to both music and film highlight his multifaceted career in the entertainment industry.
