Gregg Hale, a lifelong enthusiast of Star Wars and a passionate Dungeons and Dragons player, began his creative journey as a backyard filmmaker specializing in zombie-themed projects. His career took off in the entertainment industry as he spent a decade honing his skills as a set dresser and prop master for various films and television shows in both Orlando and Los Angeles. His pivotal moment came in 1999 when he served as a producer for the groundbreaking horror film THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, which became a cultural phenomenon.

Since that landmark project, Hale has expanded his repertoire significantly, contributing to the production, writing, or directing of ten feature films and four television series or specials. His versatility is evident in his extensive portfolio, which includes dozens of commercials, comic books, video games, and even live events and theme park attractions.

Throughout his career, Hale has received numerous accolades for his work, including an Independent Spirit Award, the Prix de la Jeunesse at the Cannes Film Festival, and a Nova Award from the Producer’s Guild.
