Maria Christina Aumont, widely recognized as Tina Aumont, was a talented American actress with a rich heritage, being of both French and Dominican descent. Born in Hollywood, California, on April 14, 1946, she was the daughter of notable actors Jean-Pierre Aumont and Maria Montez. At just 17 years old, she tied the knot with actor and director Christian Marquand in 1963.

Aumont made her cinematic debut under the name Tina Marquand in the 1966 film "Modesty Blaise," directed by Joseph Losey. She became a prominent figure in Italian cinema, collaborating with esteemed directors such as Alberto Sordi in "Scusi, lei è favorevole o contrario?" (1966), Tinto Brass in "L'urlo" (1968) and "Salon Kitty" (1975), Mauro Bolognini in "Fatti di gente perbene" (1974), Francesco Rosi in "Cadaveri eccellenti" (1975), and Federico Fellini in "Fellini's Casanova" (1976).

After a successful career in film, Aumont chose to retire in 2000. Tragically, her life was cut short when she passed away from a pulmonary embolism on October 28, 2006, in Port-Vendres, Pyrénées-Orientales, France, at the age of 60, leaving behind a legacy of remarkable performances.
