Kaido Ole, born on February 23, 1963, in Tallinn, Estonia, is a distinguished painter known for his conceptual art. He hails from a family with artistic roots, being the great-nephew of noted artist Eduard Ole. Kaido pursued his formal education in the arts, graduating from the Estonian Academy of Arts in 1992. Shortly after, he began his teaching career, imparting his knowledge as a painting instructor at the Tallinn Art School for a brief period in 1992-1993. He later returned to the Estonian Academy of Arts, where he taught painting from 2003 until 2010 before transitioning to a freelance artist.

Since the late 1980s, Ole has showcased his artistic creations in various exhibitions. A significant highlight of his career came in 2003 when he represented Estonia, alongside fellow artist Marko Mäetamm, at the prestigious 50th Venice Biennale, showcasing his work in the Estonian pavilion.
