Tim Kalpakis

Tim Kalpakis is an accomplished American comedy writer known for his sharp wit and creative storytelling. He has an impressive portfolio, having contributed to notable projects such as The Birthday Boys, the web series Between Two Ferns starring Zach Galifianakis, and the innovative Comedy Bang! Bang! His talents were showcased during the 2009 and 2010 MTV Movie Awards, where he collaborated with comedy heavyweights Andy Samberg and Aziz Ansari, respectively. In addition to his writing accomplishments, Kalpakis is a founding member of the Los Angeles-based sketch comedy troupe, The Birthday Boys.

A proud alumnus of Ithaca College, Tim has been an integral part of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles since 2006, where he not only performs but has also shared his expertise by teaching writing courses at the UCB Training Center since 2010. His comedic prowess has earned him appearances on popular platforms such as Conan and participation in renowned events like the Montreal “Just for Laughs” Festival, the LA Comedy Festival, UCB’s Ultimate Comedy Bash, and various Sketchfests across cities including New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Seattle. With a career marked by creativity and collaboration, Kalpakis continues to leave his mark on the comedy landscape.
