Axel Cruysberghs
Axel Cruysberghs, born on October 12, 1994, is a prominent professional street skateboarder hailing from Belgium. He burst onto the international scene in 2015 when he made his X Games debut in Austin, Texas, showcasing his exceptional skills and passion for the sport. His talent was further recognized when he participated in the X Games again in 2018, this time in Minneapolis, Minnesota, solidifying his status as a competitive skateboarder.
Cruysberghs had the honor of representing Belgium at the 2020 Summer Olympics, which took place in Tokyo in 2021 due to the pandemic. In the highly competitive street skating event, he finished 13th in the semifinal round, narrowly missing the opportunity to advance to the finals, but nevertheless gaining invaluable experience on the world stage.
In his personal life, Axel took a significant step in October 2020 when he married Lizzie Armanto, a fellow professional skateboarder known for her impressive achievements in the sport.
