Bill Anders

William Alison "Bill" Anders, an esteemed NASA astronaut, is best known for capturing the iconic Earthrise photograph during the Apollo 8 mission in December 1968. Born on October 17, 1933, in Hong Kong, Anders has had a distinguished career both in space exploration and as a military officer.
