William Darrell "Bubba" Wallace Jr., born on October 8, 1993, is a prominent American stock car racing driver who currently races full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, piloting the No. 23 Toyota Camry for 23XI Racing.

Wallace began his career as a development driver in Toyota's program, where he initially raced part-time for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Xfinity Series and then full-time with Kyle Busch Motorsports in the Camping World Truck Series. He later transitioned to Ford's driver development program, competing full-time for Roush Fenway Racing in the Xfinity Series. His opportunity in the Cup Series arose when he stepped in as an injury replacement for Aric Almirola in the iconic No. 43 for Richard Petty Motorsports. Following Almirola's departure, Wallace secured a full-time position with RPM, marking his first complete season in the Cup Series.

Notably, Wallace has consistently been the only full-time African American driver across NASCAR's three national series—Cup, Xfinity, and Truck—during his tenure. He also holds the distinction of being the only African American driver to achieve multiple victories in these series, solidifying his status as one of the most successful African American figures in NASCAR history. Beyond racing, Wallace gained significant recognition for his activism, particularly in June 2020, when he advocated for racial justice following the murder of George Floyd, which prompted NASCAR to enhance its policies against displays of the Confederate flag at its events.
