Erkan Mustafa, born on May 14, 1970, is a prominent British actor and television presenter of Turkish Cypriot heritage, best recognized for his role as Roland Browning in the beloved BBC series Grange Hill, which aired from 1982 to 1987.

His acting repertoire includes memorable performances such as the "Enormous Orphan" in Blackadder's Christmas Carol (1988) and the character "Otto" in the hit sitcom Chef! (1991). In 1993, he was notably featured in a segment of Channel 4's The Word, where he was discovered working at a friend's record shop. His connection to Grange Hill continued with appearances on reunion specials, including This Morning in 1998 and Bring Back Grange Hill in 2005.

Mustafa has also collaborated with fellow Grange Hill alumnus Lee MacDonald, taking on the role of presenter for E4 Music. In a celebration of his time on the show, he hosted a Grange Hill cast reunion event in October 2009 at Sound nightclub in Leicester Square, London.

More recently, he showcased his talents in the short film The All-Nighter, released in 2018, sharing the screen with Ronald Forfar and Martin Hancock. With a career spanning decades, Erkan Mustafa remains a cherished figure in British television history.
