Irena Ristić, an accomplished actress and passionate activist, hails from Ohrid, Macedonia. She gained recognition for her performances in films such as "Three Days in September" (2015), "Bal-Can-Can" (2005), and "Goodbye, 20th Century" (1998). Ristić pursued her education at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts at the University St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, where she showcased her talents in the role of Yasuko Rokujo in Yukio Mishima's "Five Modern Noh Plays." Since 1999, she has been a prominent lead actress at the Drama Theatre in Skopje (Dramski Teatar).

Her recent theatrical endeavors include portraying Eva in "Strangers" at the Drama Theatre in 2018, and playing Paolina Salas in Ariel Dorfman’s "Death and the Maiden" at the Wonderland Theatre in 2017. She took on the role of Cate in Harold Pinter's "Old Times" for the Ohrid Theatre in 2016 and participated in the updated version of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues." Additionally, Ristić has made a mark on television, notably as Natalia, a conflicted newspaper editor in the series "Insajder" (2017), and as Lenka in the comedy "Prespav" (2018).

Fluent in Serbian, Macedonian, and English, Irena has also taken on roles in Russian, Italian, Dutch, and German. Beyond her artistic achievements, she is known for her humanitarian efforts, particularly in animal welfare. She participated in Avon's 2016 campaign against domestic violence and has supported various social causes, including environmental issues, the legalization of marijuana, and LGBTQ+ rights.
