Dan Avidan

Leigh Daniel Avidan, born on March 14, 1979, is an accomplished American musician, comedian, actor, and internet personality, widely recognized for his dynamic contributions to the entertainment industry. Best known as Dan Avidan and by his stage persona Danny Sexbang, he forms one half of the popular musical comedy duo Ninja Sex Party alongside Brian Wecht. Avidan is also a co-host of the beloved Let's Play web series Game Grumps, where he collaborates with Arin Hanson. Additionally, he is a member of the comedy music trio Starbomb, which combines video game themes with humor.

Raised in Springfield Township, New Jersey, Avidan is the older sibling of two, born to Debra Schwartz and Avigdor Avidan, an Israeli immigrant who served in the Yom Kippur War. His sister, Dana Avidan Cohn, has made a name for herself as a bench jeweler and an executive style correspondent for major publications like InStyle and PopSugar.

Avidan’s educational journey began at Jonathan Dayton High School, graduating in 1997. He initially pursued advertising at Boston University but left due to a lack of interest, eventually participating in a student exchange program at a Tufts University campus in France, where he studied botany.
