Chang Cheng, originally named Chang Lufeng, entered the world in August 1975. His career took off in 1997 when he triumphed in the "National Talents Rookie" competition for film and television actors, hosted by Singapore National TV. This victory led to a contract with the station, where he gained recognition for his role as Han Xiangzi in the popular series "East Travel Notes."

In 2001, after parting ways with his initial agency, Chang Cheng signed with Shanghai Hezhan Film and Television Co., Ltd. It was during this period that he adopted the stage name "常铖." His performance as Xu Shuhui, the male lead in the drama "Half-Life," marked a significant milestone in his career. He further solidified his standing in the industry with a leading role in the series "Love is a Little Bit More Than Hate."

Throughout his acting journey, Chang Cheng has showcased his talent in various productions, including "Six Fingers Devil," "Double Cannon," and "My Naughty Angel." His versatility as an actor has earned him a devoted fanbase.
