Puangsoi Aksornsawang

Puangsoi Aksornsawang, also known as Rose, is an accomplished director, writer, and scriptwriter renowned for her unique storytelling approach. She was awarded the prestigious DAAD scholarship in 2014, which enabled her to pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of the Arts Hamburg, culminating in her graduation in 2018.

Aksornsawang made her mark in the film industry with her debut feature, "Nakorn-Sawan," which premiered at the Busan International Film Festival in 2018. This poignant film not only garnered critical acclaim but also won the Taipei Golden Horse’s Observation Mission for Asian Cinema Award, and it has been showcased at numerous international film festivals, highlighting its universal themes.
