Jennifer Arnold
Jennifer Arnold is a distinguished Emmy-nominated director known for her innovative storytelling and diverse body of work. Growing up in Santa Barbara, California, she embraced her passions for drama and skateboarding, while also spending summers immersed in the natural beauty of the Trinity Alps and Alaskan wilderness alongside her extended family. By the age of sixteen, she was already exploring the globe, and at nineteen, she moved to Kenya, a move that inspired her adventurous narrative style.
In the realm of television, Arnold has made a significant impact with her recent directorial projects, including the hit series "Based on a True Story," "P-Valley," and the pilot episode of "XO Kitty," which soared to number one on Netflix shortly after its release. Her extensive television credits also feature acclaimed shows such as "Emily in Paris," "American Horror Story," "Younger," "Shameless," "The L Word: Generation Q," "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," and "The Last Man on Earth."
Arnold's documentary work has garnered international recognition, with her feature documentary "A Small Act" (HBO) winning the Humanitas Prize and a NAMIC Vision Award, alongside a nomination for the Best Documentary Emmy. Other notable documentaries include "The Diplomat" (ESPN), "Tig" (Netflix), and "Thicker Than Water," which profiles Olympic diver Greg Louganis for ESPN's 30 for 30 shorts series.
