Timur Kerimov is a multifaceted Russian entertainer known for his talents as a singer, television and radio host, actor, and showman. Born in Penza to an Azerbaijani father, Mikail Kerimov, who was a puppet theater performer, and a Jewish mother, Zlata Levina, who taught languages, Timur's artistic roots run deep. He completed his education at Penza Secondary School No. 67, followed by a degree from the Belinsky State Pedagogical University in 2001, where he specialized in teaching French and English.

Kerimov's career took off when he won the “Become VJ MTV” contest, subsequently becoming a host for MTV Russia and a DJ for Hit FM. His breakout role came with the popular comedy show "Comedy Club," which he starred in from 2005 to 2008. In 2009, he ventured into music with his debut single “Listen to Your Body,” followed by a collaboration with Ani Lorak on “Passion,” which garnered nominations for the 2010 Muz-TV Award.

Continuing to blend music and television, he hosted shows such as "Dancing Without Rules" and "Besenl Geografik." His debut album, “About You,” released in 2011, featured hits like “Heroes” and received the Golden Gramophone award for the single "About You." Kerimov also lent his voice to animated films, including "Angry Birds in the Cinema." Throughout his career, he has participated in various charity performances and even made his mark as a screenwriter with the short film "New World." In 2015, he became the first pop artist to hold a solo concert at the historic Maria Yermolova Theater, solidifying his status in the entertainment industry.
