Robin Driscoll
Robin Driscoll is a talented British actor and writer, celebrated primarily for his contributions to the iconic series Mr. Bean. A graduate of Worthing Art College, Driscoll embarked on his creative journey in the early 1970s by co-founding a touring theatre group named ‘Cliffhanger,’ where he and fellow performers specialized in comedic improvisation.
His writing career gained momentum as he contributed to various television programs, eventually becoming a key writer for the beloved Mr. Bean franchise, which includes the original TV series, feature films, and animated adaptations. His collaboration with Rowan Atkinson, the series' star, highlights their strong friendship, as evidenced by their joint appearance in the 1992 documentary Laughing Matters, which explores the art of visual comedy.
