Palang Rocksilp
Dr. Palang Rocksilp, born on July 18, 1989, in Bangkok, Thailand, is a distinguished Thai opera singer, actor, and educator. At the age of 12, he relocated to China to pursue his passion for classical singing, eventually earning his degree in opera from the prestigious Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. His impressive career began with performances in national concerts, culminating in a memorable appearance at the closing ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Fluent in Mandarin, Dr. Palang quickly became a beloved figure on Chinese television, where his engaging humor and cultural perspectives resonated with audiences. He earned the moniker “The New Verbal Machine Gun” for his witty dialogue and sharp delivery.
In addition to his musical accomplishments, Dr. Palang made his acting debut in Thailand with the Netflix series “Mad Unicorn,” portraying Rui Jie, a quick-witted programmer.
