Liliyan Malkina

Liliyan Malkina, born on July 14, 1938, is a distinguished actress with roots in the Soviet Union, Czech Republic, and Russia. Hailing from Tallinn, she developed a passion for acting early on, participating in a drama club where she honed her craft alongside notable figures such as Vladimir Korenev, Larisa Luzhina, and Vitali Konyayev. In 1960, she graduated from the prestigious Saint Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy and began her professional journey at the Tallinn Russian Drama Theatre.

Throughout her career, Malkina made a name for herself in both comedic and dramatic roles, gracing the stages of theaters in Leningrad and Moscow with her vibrant performances. Her talent and versatility allowed her to shine in various productions, earning her recognition in the theatrical community.

In 1992, Malkina relocated to Prague, where she has continued to thrive in the performing arts. In addition to her work in European cinema, she has been a prominent figure in Czech television series and has juggled performances across five different theaters simultaneously.
