Ryūko Azuma

Ryūko Azuma, a prominent figure in Japanese cinema, made her debut at the young age of 14 in the film "Yoake," produced by Kawai Film Company. Her talent quickly garnered attention, and just two years later, she featured in three films alongside the acclaimed actor Ichikawa Tomonsuke, who had a distribution partnership with Kawai. Over the next 11 years, as Kawai Films transitioned to Daito Films and eventually Daiei, Ryūko's impressive portfolio expanded significantly, culminating in an astounding 215 film appearances throughout her career.
