Lisa Werlinder
Lisa Werlinder, born on March 12, 1972, in Vaksala, Uppsala, is a celebrated Swedish actress and jazz musician. She honed her craft at the Royal Swedish Academy of Music in Stockholm and the Luleå Acting Academy, graduating in 2000. Shortly after her studies, Werlinder was selected to work with the legendary Ingmar Bergman at The Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm, where she has showcased her talent in various productions, including her recent portrayal of Cordelia in "King Lear."
Werlinder made her film debut in 2000 with the thriller "Hassel - Förgörarna," followed by significant roles in Colin Nutley's drama "Gossip," where she played a struggling actress named Helena, and in Bille August's "A Song for Martin" as the violinist Elisabeth. Her performance as Nancy in the 2001 Swedish adaptation of "Olivia Twist" earned her widespread acclaim.
From 2002 to 2003, she portrayed the compassionate Josephine in the popular drama series "Skeppsholmen." Her role in Per Fly's "The Inheritance" garnered her a nomination for a Danish Oscar. In 2005, she starred as Emma in the romantic comedy "Doubleshift" and brought the character Kristina Månsson to life in the primetime series "Saltön." Additionally, she appeared in Steven Spielberg's "Munich" (2005) and took on a leading role in "Svarta Nejlikan" alongside Michael Nyqvist in 2007. Werlinder's versatility extends to her work in the Norwegian thriller "Torpedo," directed by Trygve Alister Diesen.
