At just 25 years old, Manoah Ainuu has carved a remarkable niche in the world of climbing, despite not having a conventional start. Raised in Compton, California, Manoah is the son of first-generation immigrants from Samoa and Ethiopia. His formative years were spent amidst the urban landscape of concrete and busy highways, far from the natural wonders that would later define his passion.

Manoah has made significant strides in climbing, successfully conquering challenging routes such as The Rostrum and Lurking Fear in Yosemite, Liberty Ridge on Mt. Rainier, and the Regular Northwest Face of Half Dome, recognized as the first Grade VI climb in the United States. These impressive feats showcase not only his physical skill but also his resilience and determination.

Beyond his personal achievements, Manoah is deeply committed to sharing his love for climbing with others. He actively leads climbing clinics for youth in cities like Atlanta and Memphis, aiming to inspire and introduce children to the sport.
