Mark Tildesley, born in 1963, is a distinguished British production designer whose creative vision has significantly shaped contemporary cinema. After honing his skills in theatre design at Wimbledon School of Art during the 1980s, Tildesley made a successful transition to film, where he has collaborated with esteemed directors such as Danny Boyle, Michael Winterbottom, Mike Leigh, Roger Michell, Paul Thomas Anderson, and Cary Fukunaga.

One of Tildesley’s notable achievements came in 1998 when he received a BAFTA Cymru award for his exceptional production design in the film "House of America." His collaboration with Danny Boyle extended beyond traditional film, as he played a pivotal role in designing the spectacular opening ceremony, "Isle of Wonder," for the 2012 Summer Olympics, which earned him an Emmy Award for outstanding art direction.

In a significant career milestone, Tildesley took over from Dennis Gassner as the set designer for the highly anticipated 25th installment of the James Bond franchise, "No Time to Die," released in 2020. Tildesley’s work is characterized by its imaginative detail and immersive environments, making him a sought-after talent in the film industry and a key contributor to the visual storytelling of modern cinema.
