Dan Redican
Dan Redican is a talented actor and producer celebrated for his contributions to the entertainment industry, particularly in puppetry and comedy. His notable works include the films *Burnt Toast* (2005) and *The Wrong Guy* (1997), as well as the television series *Puppets Who Kill* (2002). Redican has been married to Carol Commisso since April 7, 1990, and together they have raised two children.
Redican’s journey began in puppetry, where he entertained at various events, including birthday celebrations and church functions. He later collaborated with Tom Vandenburg to stage family performances such as *The Old Fisherman* and *A Day At Rotten Cheese Gulch* at The Toronto Centre for the Arts. His focus soon shifted to solo acts in London, Ontario, at Smale's Pace, which would later be known as Change of Pace.
His career took a significant turn when he joined the cast of CHCH's *Adventures of Snelgrove Snail*, portraying the character Conrad Crepidula. In 1979, he co-founded the comedy troupe The Frantics, marking a transition away from puppetry. However, Redican made a brief return to the craft in the late 1980s as a featured actor and puppeteer for the Jim Henson Company on *The Jim Henson Hour* on NBC. Throughout the 1990s, he continued to showcase his puppeteering skills, notably as Hegdish on YTV's *Groundling Marsh* and Maurice the Maggot on *Freaky Stories*.
