Duncan Watkinson

Duncan Watkinson hails from Hammersmith, London, where he was born into a family steeped in the arts. His father, Douglas Watkinson, is renowned for his contributions to both television and theatre, notably as one of the original writers for the acclaimed series *The Midsomer Murders*, as well as the mind behind the Nathan Hawk murder mystery novels. His mother took on the pivotal role of stage manager at the Theatre Royal in York, further enriching Duncan's artistic upbringing.

Duncan spent his formative years in a quaint village near Oxford and honed his academic skills at Aylesbury Grammar School for Boys. In 1999, he made the significant move to London to pursue his passion for performance. He received rigorous training at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, located in Swiss Cottage, London, which equipped him with the skills necessary to embark on a successful career in the performing arts.
