Wanani Gradi Mariadi, widely known as Gradur, is a prominent French rapper hailing from Roubaix, Hauts-de-France, with roots tracing back to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Born on November 28, 1990, Gradur first captured the public's attention through his dynamic freestyle series titled Sheguey, which showcased his lyrical prowess and unique style.

Initially, he was a member of the rap collective 59, where he began to cultivate a loyal fan base. Gradur later established his own crew, the Sheguey Squad, drawing inspiration from the Congolese term "sheguey," which translates to "child of the street." In 2014, he released his mixtape ShegueyVara, which featured the popular music video "Traction," further solidifying his presence in the French rap scene.
