Richard Hatch
Richard Hatch is a distinguished figure in the world of magic, possessing two advanced degrees in Physics from Yale University. However, his true passion lies in the art of illusion, a fascination that ignited in his childhood and evolved into a lifelong commitment. This journey was significantly influenced in 1970 when he crossed paths with renowned German magician Fredo Raxon, who inspired him to pursue magic professionally.
Since 1983, Richard has embraced a career as a full-time "deceptionist," captivating audiences with his remarkable skills. His talents were showcased early on when he clinched first place at the prestigious New England Close Up Magic Competition in Worcester, Massachusetts. In 1985, Richard relocated to Houston, Texas, with his wife, accomplished violinist Rosemary Kimura. There, he refined his craft as one of the resident magicians at Houston's Magic Island Nightclub, where he entertained guests for several years.
