Hacène Benzerari
Hacène Benzerari, born in 1946 in Constantine, Algeria, is a prominent Algerian actor and screenwriter renowned for his contributions to cinema and television. He is married to actress Nora Benzerari. Before embarking on his artistic journey, he worked as a French teacher and later took on the role of production manager at the Algerian television station ENTV in Constantine.
Benzerari made his cinematic debut in the 1971 film "Patrouille à l'Est," directed by Amar Laskri. His career gained further momentum with his performance in "Chronique Des Années De Braise" (1975), a celebrated work by Mohammed Lakhdar-Hamina that remains a hallmark of Algerian film history. Over the years, he has appeared in a multitude of significant productions that have shaped the landscape of Algerian cinema.
His notable television appearances include the widely recognized series "Nass Mlah City" (2002) and "Bab El Web" (2005), both of which showcased his versatility as an actor.
