Mohamed Dione

Momo Dione was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to a diverse heritage of Guinean and Senegalese roots. His father served as a diplomat for Guinea, while his mother built a successful career in event production and African fashion. Dione's adventurous spirit was evident early on, as he traveled extensively before even entering high school. In 1993, his family relocated to the United States when his father took up a position at the Guinea mission in New York City.

It was during his elementary school years on Roosevelt Island that Dione discovered his love for acting. Despite his busy schedule in high school—balancing basketball, football, student government, and academics—he began pursuing acting opportunities. After graduating from Yonkers International Baccalaureate High School in 2004, he embarked on a diverse career that included appearances in plays, TV shows, commercials, music videos, and films. His notable works feature roles in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Across the Universe," "Notorious," and the anticipated "Restless City," which premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.

An alumnus of the All Stars Project/Youth Onstage/Castillo Theater programs, Dione also contributed as a co-author and original cast member of "Our City." As a co-owner of Caramel Cappuccino Films, he aims to tell stories that resonate with underrepresented communities. Dione, who divides his time between Los Angeles and New York, is passionate about horseback riding, opera, Congolese soukous, and cinema, relentlessly auditioning for roles that will elevate his impact on Hollywood and Broadway.
